Camp Director & Curriculum Writer:
Pat Hardage started teaching High School in
1994 and has taught Robotics, Engineering, Architecture,a nd Pre-AP English I and II. He
was Teacher of the at Lowery Freshman
Center in Allen in 2004-2005.
He was a YN1(AC) in the U.S.Navy during
Vietnam, serving as an C-131 Aircraft Load-
master and Admin Office Manager. During that
time he also logged seven static-line sport
parachute jumps and forty-four free-falls.
He has been active in Boy Scouting since
he was a Cub Scout in 1952, and he has served
as Cubmaster and as Scoutmaster.
In the cockpit of a glider piloted by Col. Rick Searfoss, Mission Commander STS 90 and Shuttle Pilot on STS missions 58 and 76.
WindWalkerCamp has been Pat's lifetime goal and dream since he was in high school back in Fort Worth. That was more fun than he could talk about. Especially since he has been teaching school, Pat has figured out that guys need to get their hands onto stuff, to see how it works - and how it doesn't. That's what we're going to do here.
Pat has taken travelling camps by bus to NASA Houston, Cape Canaveral, and Mount Rushmore . . and everywhere in between.

He is also the father of four sons and three daughters. He has three and a half grandkids.
